Prayagraj: The holy festival of Makar Sankranti will be celebrated across the country on January 14. There has been an ancient tradition of taking a dip of faith in the Ganges on this day. In such a situation, people from all corners of the country come to bathe in the Ganga. Like all the places adjoining the Ganga, all preparations have been made in Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh. Here, 29 policemen have been found corona positive till Wednesday. Seven policemen were found infected yesterday. This information was given by nodal officer Rishi Sahai. It may be recalled that during the Corona crisis, there has been no complete ban in Prayagraj over the event, but a number of restrictions have been imposed. It has been informed that thermal scanning will be done from time to time for devotees visiting the Magh Mela. Masks will be distributed and people will be made aware of the public address system i.e. sound.

At the same time, it will be mandatory for employees, sailors, co-drivers on duty at the fair to undergo corona checks.
