Lucknow: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Abhishek Dixit of Prayagraj, who is facing serious defects of crime control and corruption, has been suspended on Tuesday. This action has been taken against him on the orders of CM Yogi Adityanath. Abhishek Dixit has been facing many serious allegations since the time when he was posted as an SSP in Prayagraj. The spokesperson of the Home Department said that there were allegations against Dixit for making irregularities and not following the orders of the government properly.
He is also accused of corruption. There are allegations that he has not done proper patrolling as per the orders of the government, and he has not taken care of the security of banks and economic business establishments. He failed in controlling looting. Due to this, he has been suspended.
On the other hand, private COVID hospitals of Kanpur in the state are not able to arrange doctors according to the standards. In particular, there is a shortage of specialists. Additional Chief Secretary Dr Rajneesh Dubey gave two days time to private COVID hospitals to arrange doctors as per the standards. In this, they were asked for a 10-bed ICU. This type of situation can arouse troubles for COVID patients.
