One of the most popular actresses of 90s Preity Zinta is celebrating her Birthday today. The actress has featured in various Big Bollywood films and was amongst the highest-paid actress of her time. On her Birthday have a look on interesting stories about her.

Preity Zinta celebrates her birthday on 31st January.  She is currently away from the big screenHer father Durganand Zinta was an army officer, but he died in a car accident. Priety was only 13 at the time of her death. Preity Zinta, popularly known as Dimple Girl  of Bollywood. Her last film was 'Bhaiya Ji Superhit'.  She owns cricket team, Kings XI Punjab. Very few people know that apart from acting and business, Preity Zinta also used to write articles for BBC.

There is an interesting story about Preity. Once the actress left the property of Rs 600 crore. At the time Shaandaar Amrohi’s death, she got a chance to get Rs 600 crore., as she is a  adopted daughter of Shaandaar Amrohi. At the time of his death, Shandar Amrohi was the owner of property worth 600 crores and he wanted to transfer his entire share to Preity Zinta but Preity Zinta refused to take the property. In the year 2009, Preity Zinta adopted 34 girls from an orphanage in Rishikesh. Preeti has taken full responsibility for the upbringing of these 34 girls.

On the work, Preity Zinta has featured in various hit films like Kya Kehna (2000). Though the film was the first, Preity had actually begun shooting for her first release which was Mani Ratnam’s Dil Se (1998). The film was a hit which won Preity accolades.  She also featured in films like Dil Chahta Hai, Dil hai Tumhara.
