Regarding this film, it has been reported that Hrithik Roshan's name has been finalized by the makers to play the role of Amitabh Bachchan, the great hero of the century. Also, the film was also offered to Preity Zinta by the makers, although she has categorically denied it.
It is now being said that Preity was not offered for the role of Hema Malini in this film but for the second main character, due to which Preeti has refused this offer.
Recently, there was a discussion that Deepika Padukone is being given in this film instead of Hema, although the actress has clearly denied it due to her busy schedule. Since then, everyone has been eyeing its casting and Rohit Shetty and Farah Khan will work together on this remake.
