Noted Bollywood superstar Premnath Malhotra passed away on November 3, 1992. He won millions of hearts with his excellent acting in many movies of the 60s and 70s. Premnath Malhotra was born on November 21, 1926, in Peshawar, Pakistan, but after partition, his family moved to Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh. After some time Premnath Malhotra moved to Mumbai where he made a name for himself in the world of acting. Premnath Malhotra started his film journey in the year 1948. In 1948, two of his films, 'Aag' and 'Ajith', came out.
Both these movies were loved by the audience. Premnath Malhotra got a big recognition in Hindi films with Raj Kapoor and Nargi's movie Barasat. Premnath Malhotra also tried as a hero before playing a villain in movies but he was not liked by the audience much in the role of a hero. He then played the villain in films and won the hearts of the audience. Premnath Malhotra had acted in many great films like 'Ajith', 'Johnny Mera Naam', 'Aan', 'Tere Mere Sapne', 'Apna Ghar', 'Badal', '3rd Floor', 'Baharon Ke Sapne', 'Bobby', 'Roti Kapda Aur Makan', 'Naagin', 'Jai Bajrang Bali', 'Jani Dushman', 'Vishwanath', 'Karz'.
