The 14th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati is all set to premiere on August 7 and many special guests are going to grace the hot-seat and play the game.

Makers of the show released a promo giving a sight of the celebrity guests. Alongside Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, Kargil War veteran Major D.P Singh, Col. Mitali Madhumita (first woman officer in the Indian Army) to win Sena Medal Gallantry, Padma Vibhushan sportsperson MC Mary Kom, and Padma Shri Sunil Chhetri (Footballer) will be present.

The show will premiere on August 7 (Sunday) at 9pm. Caption in the promo reads, “Ravivaar, 7th August se Raat 9 baje, shuru hoga Kaun Banega Crorepati ka naya adhyay. Hoga azadi ke garv ka mahaparv.” Aamir Khan says, “Mere liye bahut khaas din hai aaj.”

In a blog, host Big B thanked the audience both on and off-screen, who have supported the show by watching it for all these years. He wrote, “KBC has begun and so has the love and affection of the audience that has been now allowed due to the restrictions of the virus being, well, slightly liberal  ... And to witness that has been a huge gift  ... Giving impetus and love and the required energy to carry the work forward, with the grace that has been with the show for the past, well, almost 22 years ..Quite obviously, this has not been possible without the cooperation of the audience both on set and those that watch the programme... My gratitude then to them and my continued prayer for them to be with us  ...”

The show will now have a new slot of Rs. 75 lakhs. The changes have been made to pay respect to the 75th Independence Day.
