Ayodhya: DeepoUtsav in Ram's birthplace will be held in a new style this time. Preparations for this have started. While on one hand Ram's sitting place is being prepared for the event, on the other hand, the purchase process of Deepotsav's material has started. This time, a plan has been made to illuminate Ayodhya with the light of lamps lit by 25 and a half thousand litres of mustard oil.

Earthen lamps will light up at 14 other main sites along with 'Ram's Pedi'. Each lamp with a capacity of 45 ml oil will burn for three hours. An e-tender has been issued for the purchase of material for the event. The supply will start after the e-tender opens on October 14. In addition to a total of 17 hundred tin mustard oil, a blueprint has been prepared to purchase five lakh earthen lamps and six lakh cotton wick.

This time more than 400 tin mustard oil will be purchased as compared to last year. Matches and candles have to be purchased to light the lamp. Ashish Mishra, who played an important role on behalf of Awadh University in this program, states that e-tendering has been done for the material used in the Deepotsav program. About five lakh lamps will be burnt at Ram's paid and one lakh lamps at 13 other places.
