There is a preparation to ban the entry of tourists coming from outer states in Devbhoomi Himachal from Thursday to 31 March because Coronavirus has entered India. This was discussed in a high-level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Jairam Thakur at the state secretariat. Chief Secretary Anil Kumar Khachi and other top government officials were present in the meeting.

It was decided in the meeting that only selected buses will be sent to the outside states. All the bus services can also be stopped in the coming time. For the border, the bus service was stopped. Shimla-Tanakpur bus will go to Haridwar only. The police also sealed the border areas of the province. The devotees are being sent back. Employees and other people will not be allowed to enter government and non-government offices without screening. There are instructions to keep sanitizer at the main entrance of the offices.

Apart from this, patients like cough, cold, fever and asthma have been asked to take leave. The government has instructed the employees not to spread rumors. Officers will have to hold only necessary meetings. Routine meetings will be through video conferencing. Officers are also instructed not to tour. People of 50 years and above and pregnant women have been asked to take regular medicines. In the offices, most of the work is directed to be done by e-mail.
