To prevent the corona virus causing havoc around the world, there is a readiness to stop the entry of tourists from outside states in Devbhumi Himachal from Thursday to 31 March. Along with this, it was discussed at a high level meeting chaired by Chief Minister Jairam Thakur at the State Secretariat. Other top officials of the government, including Chief Secretary Anil Kumar Khachi, were present at the meeting. It was decided in the meeting that only select buses can be sent to outside states. At the same time all bus services can also be stopped. At the same time, the bus service for Nepal border was stopped. Apart from this, Shimla-Tanakpur bus can only reach Haridwar.

The police also sealed the border areas of the province. The pilgrims are being sent back. In addition, employees and others in government and non-government offices will not be allowed to enter without screening. Instructions are to place the sanitizer at the main entrance of the offices. At the same time, patients like cough, cold, fever and asthma have been asked to take leave. Along with this, the government has instructed the employees not to spread the rumor. Officers may only hold necessary meetings. Routine meetings will be through video conferencing. Officers are also instructed not to tour. At the same time, people of 50 years and above and pregnant women have been asked to take regular medicines. In offices, most of the work is directed to be done by e-mail.

The state government has decided to immediately release five crore rupees to fight Corona. Along with this, this amount has been released from the State Disaster Response Fund to take necessary steps in the first phase, while this information was given by Chief Minister Jairam Thakur while chairing the meeting of the State Disaster Management Authority. The Center has allocated Rs 454 crore in the state disaster relief fund for the coming financial year. Apart from this, the Chief Minister said that the Center has also released Rs 50 crore to reduce the risk of landslides and earthquakes in the state.
