New Delhi: President Droupadi Murmu inaugurated 'Udyan Utsav 2024' at Amrit Udyan, a renowned garden spread over 15 acres in New Delhi. The garden will be open to the public from February 2 to March 31, 2024, excluding Mondays for maintenance. This edition of Udyan Utsav will feature over 85 species of flowers, a theme garden with 42,000 tulips of 18 varieties, and key attractions such as a 225-year-old Sheesham tree and a Bonsai garden with more than 300 Bonsais. Additionally, an elevated artistic 'Amrit Udyan' garden signature has been installed as a beautiful selfie point, and a 'floral clock' is among the notable attractions.

Visitors can make free online bookings at visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in or through self-service kiosks outside gate no. 35. Entry and exit for all visitors will be from gate no. 35, located close to where North Avenue Road meets Rashtrapati Bhavan. A shuttle bus service from Central Secretariat Metro Station to gate no. 35 will be available every 30 minutes between 9.30 AM to 5 PM for the convenience of visitors. Mobile phones, electronic keys, purses/handbags, water bottles, and milk bottles for infants are allowed. Facilities like drinking water, toilets, and first aid/medical assistance will be provided along the public route.

Special categories have designated days for visiting the Udyan during Udyan Utsav, including February 22 for differently-abled and visually challenged persons, February 23 for personnel of defense, paramilitary, and police forces, March 1 for women, tribals, and women self-help groups, and March 5 for children of orphanages.
