President Kovind hosts a Banquet for Danny Faure

On Monday President of India, Ram Nath Kovind met his contemporary from Seychellois, Danny Faure and hosted a banquet to welcome him at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

 

 Prime Minister Narendra Modi, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge were amongst the big names who attended the Banquet.

 

On his first visit to India, Danny Faur sang a  song at the lunch hosted at Hyderabad House by Prime Minister Modi.

 

The song which President sang was a rendition of a song named 'Mon Pei Sa'. He also played a musical instrument and received a heartiest applaud from Prime Minister Modi.
The President is on a 6-day visit to India and began his trip on June 22.

 

Alongside his visit to India, President Faur released a joint statement with Prime Minister Modi regarding the strengthening of the bilateral defence relations between the two countries and expanding trade.

 

The two countries, India and Seychelles have also agreed on various pacts based on the Understanding in the fields of data sharing, culture, information technology, and education.

 

The President's visit to India surely hints towards his intentions to Befriend India and lead towards a healthy relationship between both the countries.
