President Ramnath Kovind will spend 25th July with the tribals of Chhattisgarh. On the same day, assuming the office of the President, he will complete one year. Prior to this, all the presidents used to release a book in the presence of the Prime Minister, Vice President and other dignitaries at a function held on July 24 in Rashtrapati Bhavan every year, in which there was a collection of speeches that he had done in various programs during the last one year.

But Kovind believes that spending his days in the presence of the most deprived sections of the country, better understanding their problems and taking measures to redress themselves, by releasing their own book of speeches in their presence. That is why on one of the most backward areas of Chhattisgarh on the morning of 25th July, Kovind has left for Jagdalpur and will remain among tribals all day. But this is not the first non-traditional step taken by Kovind.

He called the breakfast meeting of high court judges and ask them to set a time-bound deadline to settle the pending cases. On their initiative, now the authentic copy of the decisions of the High Courts will also be available in the local language so that people who do not know English will understand it properly. The Chhattisgarh High Court has also started this. The second high court will also start this process soon.

For the first time in 46 years, the Convocation of Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi, on the initiative of Convocation President Kovind, is being organized on August 18. The convocation ceremony was held in the year 1982 in this university known as the stronghold of Leftist ideology.

President, Kovind, did not hesitate to reveal his concern or opinion on all contemporary issues. This is the reason why he expresses his sympathies with the victim of rape in Kathua, even if he disagrees with the controversy about his opinion about Tipu Sultan. Not only that, he warned against the extremist groups as being the marginal province of the West Bengal government.

He has reduced the number of guests from 2000 to 700 in the reception organized on Republic Day. At the same time, this time, on Independence Day, people who have been honoured with Padma awards and made locally known people have been invited specifically in their party.

His personality is praised not only by the government but also opposition leader. Former Union Minister Rajiv Shukla, who praises his contribution in the field of judiciary and education, former Rajya Sabha member Pramod Tiwari says that the President believes in working quietly. Devendra Singh Bhole, MP from Kanpur, says that the President is very courteous and friendly. He will soon inaugurate a library in memory of poet Shyam Lal Gupta.
