President delivers speech containing issues like Ram temple, Article 370

New Delhi: Today the budget session of Parliament began with the address of President Ram Nath Kovind. When the President during his address mentioned the commencement of construction of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Section-370 and Ram Temple, the MPs greeted President Ram Nath Kovind with great applause.

When President Ram Nath Kovind mentioned the removal of Section 370 from Jammu and Kashmir and the commencement of construction of Ram temple during his address, the MPs present there greeted him for long. When the President Ram Nath Kovind's speech mentioned the successful completion of the Zilla Parishad elections and the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council elections in Jammu and Kashmir for the first time after independence, it was strongly greeted by all the Members of Parliament.

In his address, the President mentioned the efforts of the Central Government's Vande Bharat Mission, improvement in world tourism ranking and DBT. These efforts of the government also greeted MPs strongly.16 political parties were absent during the President's address, he boycotted the President's address.
