As the US Presidential elections come closer, both Joe Biden and current President Donald Trump are busy gaining their voters so as to attain the position as the next US president. Joe Biden recently said that Russia will pay a price for meddling in U.S. elections in case he wins the White House. The former vice president said on Thursday during a CNN town hall staged near his birth city of Scranton, Pennsylvania, that Russia would face consequences for trying to determine November’s vote. When encircled by moderator Anderson Cooper, however, he declined to say exactly what that meant.

Former Vice President Biden states, “It wouldn’t be prudent to be more specific.” He rather said he thought Russian President Vladimir Putin was performing his best to divide Europe. Biden also added that he viewed Russia as an opponent but declined to be quite as critical of China. Biden is the Democratic presidential nominee for the 2020 election, running against the incumbent, Donald Trump.
