New Delhi: The Presidents of 5 Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan) are expected to be invited as chief guests on Republic Day 2022 of India. 5 Central Asian leaders are being planned for the Republic Day celebrations as part of china's infiltration into the region and an attempt to expand its Eurasian reach amid the threat of radicalization from Afghan theatres. Not only that, from Central Asia, the then Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev attended India's Republic Day celebrations in 2009.

China is planning to invite 5 Central Asian leaders to the Republic Day celebrations as part of an attempt to expand its Eurasian reach amid China's infiltration into the region and the threat of radicalization from afghan theatres.  Where it has been revealed that all sides are going to work on the details of the proposed visit of 5 leaders from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan. In addition to the development partnership, investment, security partnership and connectivity to Central Asia through Iran's Chabahar port, always considered India's extended neighbourhood, is expected to be on the agenda between travel.

Last year, the President of Brazil was invited: Earlier, a meeting between the Foreign Ministers of India and Central Asian countries is scheduled to be held on December 18-19, as stated earlier this week. There was no fixed venue for the grand Republic Day parade in India between the early days. The Republic Parade is held at various places like Red Fort, Ramlila Maidan, Kingsway and Irwin Stadium.  The parade venue was decided in 1955 and is scheduled to be held at Rajpath. The tradition that has been going on in India for years has been the presence of the chief guest for the Republic Day parade. India has so far invited political leaders from several neighbouring countries and nations for the parade.

It is learnt that Brazilian President Jeyer Mesias Bolsonaro, the chief guest at last year's Republic Day celebrations, visited India on a 4-day visit on Friday. This is Bolsonaro's first visit to India as president. He has arrived in Delhi with 8 ministers, top officials and a large business delegation. Meanwhile, 15 agreements between India and Brazil were signed. In 1996 and 2004 too, the Brazilian President became the Chief Guest on Republic Day. In 2016, Brazilian President Michel Temer visited India to attend the 8th BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) Summit in Goa.
