New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge for questioning the "relevance" of Jammu and Kashmir at a Rajasthan rally, stating that Kharge's remarks reflected the mindset of those who aimed to "divide the country."
During a rally in Rajasthan, Kharge referred to PM Modi's recent speech and mistakenly mentioned the scrapping of Article 370 as 'Article 371', emphasizing it as a matter concerning Jammu and Kashmir, not Rajasthan. Addressing a rally in Bihar's Nawada, PM Modi expressed feeling "ashamed" upon hearing Kharge's comments.
"Modi pledged to scrap Article 370 in Kashmir, and we accomplished it. While they talk about upholding Babasaheb Ambedkar's Constitution, they failed to implement it in Jammu and Kashmir," PM Modi stated.
Highlighting the sacrifices made by youths from Bihar and Rajasthan in protecting Jammu and Kashmir, PM Modi condemned Kharge's dismissal of its relevance, stating it reflected the mindset of the 'tukde-tukde gang.'
Continuing his criticism, PM Modi accused the Congress of promoting appeasement politics, likening their manifesto to that of the Muslim League. He reiterated similar sentiments expressed during a rally in Rajasthan's Ajmer.
PM Modi further alleged that leaders of the INDIA bloc, who participated in temple consecrations, faced expulsions in their parties, accusing them of opposing Sanatana Dharma and advocating for the division of South India.
Expressing dismay over the hostility of the INDIA bloc towards popular sentiments, PM Modi highlighted their absence during the 'pran pratishtha' in Ayodhya, despite the Ram Temple's construction through public donations.
Asserting his determination, PM Modi stated that the opposition sought a ban on 'Modi ki guarantees' due to fear, emphasizing his unwavering commitment to hard work and serving the nation.
