New Delhi: PM Modi launched the second phase of the Ujjwala Scheme (Ujjwala 2.0) from Mahoba in UP through video conferencing. He also conveyed his best wishes to the beneficiaries. He said, "Today, in the next phase of Ujjwala Yojana, many sisters are getting free gas connections and gas stoves. I once again extend my best wishes to all the beneficiaries. He said, "Today, I am remembering another great child of Bundelkhand. Major Dhyan Chand, our Dada Dhyan Chand. The country's highest sports award has now been named the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna award. I am confident that this name of Dada associated with Khel Ratna will inspire millions of people amidst an unprecedented performance of our young friends in the Olympics."

Prime Minister Modi said, "Looking at the progress of the last seven and a half decades, we do think that there are some situations, some situations which could have been changed many decades ago. Homes, electricity, water, toilets, gas, roads, hospitals, schools, many basic needs that the countrymen had to wait for decades to meet are sad. The PM further said, "Our daughters will be able to come out of the house and kitchen and contribute extensively to nation-building only if the problems related to the first house and kitchen are solved. Therefore, in the last 6-7 years, mission mode has been worked out for each such solution."

Pm Modi said, "Now my working colleagues need not wander around for proof of address. The Government has full faith in your honesty. You have to write only one self-declaration of your address, that is, yourself, and you will get a gas connection. He said, "The government is also trying to get gas from the pipe like water in your kitchen. It is also much cheaper than gas cylinders."
