Prime Minister Narendra Modi launces India Post Payments Bank services

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched India Post Payments Bank (IPPB). IPPB will have 650 branches and 3250 Access Points across the country. All the 1.55 lakh Post Offices in the country will be linked to the IPPB system by December 31.

India PostPayments Bank will offer a range of products such as savings and current accounts, money transfer, direct benefit transfers, bill and utility payments, and enterprise and merchant payments.

In his inaugural address, PM Modi said  his government has sent millions of poor families to the bank for the first time through Jan Dhan Yojna and today's work has been started to bring the bank to the door of the village and the poor.

PM Modi on the launch of the largest India Post Payment Bank services said India Post Payment Bank is going to make a big difference in the country's economy, in social order.

Although Letter replaced by e-mail, but the goal is the same, The technology which challenged to the post office, our government making the basis of the same technology and moving forward to change this in the opportune time said PM Modi .

The Indian Postal Department has 1.5 lakh post offices. More than 3 lakh postmen are associated to the people of the country.

PM Modi government has taken the initiative to create the most powerful system of service in the 21st century by connecting such a comprehensive network with technology.
