Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently said that the only historical test match between India and Afghanistan is memorable and that in this match, the Indian cricket team presented a unique example in front of the whole world.

Modi said on Sunday in the 45th edition of 'Mana Ki Baat' program, which was broadcast on Akashwani, that there was a historic cricket match in Bengaluru just a few days ago, which was a Test match between India and Afghanistan.

It was Afghanistan's first Test match and it is a matter of pride for every Indian that this historic match of Afghanistan was with India. The Prime Minister said that both the teams performed well in this match, and another player of Afghanistan's Rashid Khan had also performed very well in the IPL this year, and he remembers that Afghanistan's President Ashraf Ghani tweeted, the people of Afghanistan are extremely proud of their player Rashid.

I am grateful to our Indians who have provided a platform for our players to show their skills. Rashid represents the best in Afghanistan. He is the diamond of the cricket world and along with it, he wrote "No, we are not going to give it to anyone. Modi said that this match will be a memorable one for all of us. It is therefore very natural to remember, but I will remember this match for any particular reason. The Indian team did something which is an example for the whole world."

He invited the Foundation's team and took photos of both teams together. Prime Minister said that "The spirit of the game is what we can learn from this one event. It is a great way to unite the sports society and the talent that our youth possesses. My greetings to both India and Afghanistan teams. I hope we will play together with each other in the same way as a whole game spirit."
