New Delhi: A huge fire broke out in the grain market located in Rani Jhansi Road area of Delhi, capital of the country, 43 people have died. The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) has announced compensation for the families of those who died in the accident. The PMO has announced a grant of Rs 2 lakh each to the kin of the deceased. The PMO has also announced to give 50-50 thousand rupees to those injured in the accident.

Earlier, PM Modi has described this incident as 'very frightening'. PM Narendra Modi tweeted saying, "My condolences to those who lost their families in this incident. I wish the injured to recover soon. Officials are trying to provide all possible help at the scene Are. " The rescue personnel have evacuated 50 people from there.

Earlier, President Ramnath Kovind tweeted, "It is very sad to hear of the horrific fire incident in Delhi's grain market. My condolences and prayers are with the families of the victims. I wish the injured to get well soon. The local authorities are trying their best to save the people and provide them help. "
