Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, prisoner Anshul Dixit fired inside Chitrakoot district jail, Ragoli and killed Merajuddin and Mukim Kala. Mukim Kala was a big crook from western Uttar Pradesh. Anshul Dixit was also killed in police action. The firing inside the jail created a stir in the police administration.

According to sources, the deceased prisoner had shifted here from the outer jail a few days ago. Senior officers of the district are present on the occasion. Heavy force including Satyanarayana of IG, DM Subhrant Kumar Shukla, SP Ankit Mittal, Jail Superintendent Shri Prakash Tripathi are present at the spot.

Let us tell you that Mukim had more than 35 cases of murder, robbery, rangadari, kidnapping, ransom. Mukim, once a mason, was counted as a hardcore criminal. Anshul Dixit, who killed Mukim Kala, was arrested by uttar pradesh STF from Gorakhnath police station area of Gorakhpur district in 2014.
