According to the information given by the jail officers, three days ago he murdered his mother-in-law in the Mohan Garden area of Delhi. He was imprisoned in Tihar jail on charges of the same.
Earlier in April, a case of suicide by a female prisoner was reported in Tihar Jail. In Tihar Jail Number Six of the capital, a woman named Kavita, 38, tied a dupatta with an exhaust fan and hanged it. Her suicide attempt was successful. The deceased woman Kavita and her husband Satish were taken into custody on April 25 in the Chawla area on charges of murdering their father-in-law Raj and mother-in-law Omvati. Both husband and wife were imprisoned in Tihar.
