Popular actress Priyanka Chopra is enjoying her married life these days. Desi Girl is celebrating 38th birthday and she is going to celebrate in a special way. On the occasion of her birthday, we bring you her journey for Bareilly to Hollywood.

Priyanka was born in Jamshedpur. His parents were doctors in the Army. Priyanka's father, Dr. Ashok Chopra, passed away in 2013 after fighting a cancer battle. Priyanka Chopra's childhood was spent in Bareilly. Priyanka studied early from St. Maria Goorty College here.

Her Bollywood journey is interesting and inspiring as well. Priyanka's parents were army officers, that is why she changed many schools. At the age of 13, Priyanka moved to the US where she stayed with her aunt, where she spent nearly three years and enrolled in the same school.

Three years later, Priyanka returned to India from the US and completed her high school at the Army Public School in Bareilly. Priyanka runner-up at Femina Miss India held in 2000. Priyanka wanted her to study engineering or psychiatry, but after becoming Miss World in 2000, she chose acting as her career.

In 2002, Abbas-Mastan's "Hamraj" might have been Priyanka's first Bollywood film, but for some reason she couldn't do it and was replaced by Amisha Patel.

Priyanka then made her acting debut in 2002 in a Tamil film 'Thamijan' and stepped into Bollywood in 2003 from Sunny Deol's film "The Hero", which proved to be a flop at the box office. She then appeared in the film 'Andaz' with Akshay Kumar and Lara Dutta, and the film received mixed responses from the audience.

2004 proved to be crucial for Priyanka's film career. This year, her film 'Atraj' was released, for which Priyanka won the Filmfare Award for Best Actresses in Negative Role. He has since worked in several films, for which he received a lot of praise.

Currently, Priyanka Chopra is going to be seen in Shonali Bose's 'The Sky is Pink'.
