Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed a baby boy, on May 6. On this happy occasion,  congratulatory messages are pouring in from close friends and fans on social media too. Now, Global icon  Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who is a close friend of the Duchess of Sussex, also congratulated the happy couple on becoming parents.

Priyanka Chopra posted the photo that the royal family put up in their announcement and wrote, “Congratulations M & H” on it.

In a statement The royal family said, “Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex was safely delivered of a son at 0526hrs this morning. The baby weighs 7lbs 3oz. The Duke of Sussex was present for the birth. The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Lady Jane Fellowes, Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Earl Spencer have been informed and are delighted with the news.”

The baby boy has been given the title ‘Earl of Dumbarton’. Fans are eagerly waiting for the new parents to pose with their baby. The royal family will release photos of the little prince after a couple of days.

Prince Harry told BBC how happy he is on becoming a father. The royal family also said in their statement that both, the mother and the baby, are healthy.
