After 10 times rejection , Actress-producer Priyanka Chopra's film "Pahuna - The Little Visitors” won two awards at International Film Festival in the ongoing film festival in Germany. The film had a special mention in the European Children's Film Awards and the Professional Jury Feature Film International category Awards. The film received tremendous response in the European premiere on October 2 and October 5.
The story of "Pahun" includes three Nepali children, who, when separated from their parents, return to their homes with their courage, affection, strength and courage. The technicians working in this film are from Sikkim. Paakhi A. Tyrewala has directed this movie. The film is produced by Purple Pebble Pictures (PPP), a banner of Priyanka and her mother, Madhu Chopra.
Priyanka Chopra's mother said that when we started filming, we did not think that it would be becoming very popular movie. Many people would prefer not only in India but all over the world. She thanked the SCHLINGEL children's film festival.
“‘Pahuna…’ will always be a very special film for all of us at Purple Pebble Pictures. When we started the journey of ‘Pahuna…’, we didn’t anticipate the film to go this far. But God has been kind and the film has resonated with the audience not just in India but across the globe,” Said Mrs. Madhu.
She further added, “I’m grateful to SCHLINGEL children’s film festival for the recognition. We are looking forward to many more such milestones in our journey at Purple Pebble Pictures”.
