Recently, she said, "Her family members have been killed not by corona virus but by the weak health system of the country". Recently, Meera Chopra angrily said, "Because of Covid 19, I did not lose two close cousins but poor health services are responsible. My first cousin could not find an ICU bed in Bengaluru for about two days and the oxygen level had suddenly come down. Both were around 40 years old". At the same time, she said, "It is very sad that we could not do anything to save them. I am constantly afraid of what will happen next. Every life just seems to be coming to an end. You do everything possible with your ability but you still lose them".

She also said, "For the first time, I am so angry, because I feel that our country has gone into a pit. We had to arrange oxygen, injections, medicines and beds. The Government should have done it for us, but it has failed to save the lives of its own people".
