New Delhi: Amidst the demand for a rapid leadership change, Congress has announced the Political Affairs Group and task force 2024. Former party president Rahul Gandhi has been made a member of the political affairs group. While in Task Force 2024, Priyanka Gandhi has been inducted as a member. Digvijay Singh and Sachin Pilot have been given a place in the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
In fact, Congress had recently organised a three-day Chintan Shivir in Udaipur. During this time, Sonia Gandhi talked about organisational changes in the Congress. Not only this, he also announced the formation of political affairs group and task force. After which Sonia Gandhi has announced the names of the members of the Political Affairs Group, Task Force and Central Planning Group for India Jodo Yatra with immediate effect.
Political Affairs Group:-
The group includes former party president Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Ambika Soni, Digvijay Singh, Anand Sharma, KC Venugopal and Jitendra Singh.
Task Force 2024:-
The group includes former Union Ministers P Chidambaram, Mukul Wasnik, Jairam Ramesh, KC Venugopal, Ajay Maken, Priyanka Gandhi, Randeep Surjewala,
And Sunil Kanugollu has been made a member.
Central Planning Group formed to coordinate India's Jodo Yatra:-
The group includes former CM Digvijay Singh, former deputy CMs Sachin Pilot, Shashi Tharoor, Ranjit Singh Bittu, KJ George, Jothi Mani, and Pradyut Boldoloi, Jitu Patwari and Salim Ahmed.
Every member of the task force will be given tasks related to organization, communication and media, outreach, finance and election management. These members will have their own teams. Information about it will be given later. The Task Force will work on the basis of Udaipur Nav Sankalp announcements and reports of 6 groups.
