The list includes states like Uttar Pradesh, Manipur, Goa, Uttarakhand, Karnataka, Assam and Tripura. In fact, diesel prices have been reduced here up to Seven rupees. The Uttar Pradesh government has also reduced VAT by 7 rupees on petrol and 2 rupees on diesel after the Centre reduced excise duty on petrol and diesel. In Uttar Pradesh, both petrol and diesel have become cheaper by 12 rupees each.
