Gorakhpur: Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is scheduled to visit Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's home district Gorakhpur today i.e. Here she is coming to address a rally. As part of the information received, the pledge rally is one of the series of rallies being organised by the Uttar Pradesh Congress across the state. In fact, Priyanka Gandhi started her campaign on October 10. It started with a rally from Varanasi which is prime minister Narendra Modi's parliamentary constituency.

Here, she had announced 40 per cent reservation in tickets for women and tried to change the political scenario in Uttar Pradesh to an extent. At the same time, she said she is planning to end caste discrimination against gender politics. Let me tell all of you that today, through the Priyanka Gandhi Pledge Rally, the people of both the divisions will take a pledge of 'Hum Vachan Aayog' to promises like sharing of 40 per cent seats for women, waiver of entire farmers' loans, clearing the entire arrears of electricity bill half and corona period, providing government employment to 20 lakhs.

According to reports, congress national to state-level leaders is engaged in Gorakhpur to prepare for the rally. State President of State Congress Committee Ajay Kumar Lallu, National Congress Secretary Rajesh Tiwari inspected the venue last Saturday. Meanwhile, Lallu said, "Priyanka Gandhi's historic rally will be held on the land of Gorakhpur. Priyanka Gandhi, who has always been ready to fight for the rights of the poor and bring justice to the poor, has created a new possibility among the people of the state. And the people of the state are looking at them with hope.''
