Lucknow: Senior doctor and gynaecologist SK Bhandari of Sir Gangaram Hospital in the national capital Delhi has died of corona virus. Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has condoled the passing away of SK Bhandari. 

Priyanka Gandhi wrote emotionally, 'Dr. S.K. Bhandari, former doctor of Sir Gangaram Hospital, who delivered my brother, my son and my daughter, passed away today. Even at the age of seventy, she would reach the hospital herself early in the morning. Till the end, she maintained every great quality of her own. A woman I always respected and admired. A friend I will always remember'.

In Delhi, the pace of corona infection seems to be braking. According to a bulletin issued on Thursday, 10,489 new cases of infection have been registered in Delhi during the last 24 hours. The positivity rate here is 14.24 per cent. In a day, 308 people have lost their lives due to corona. In the last 24 hours, 15,189 people have recovered from corona. The number of patients recovering is higher than in new cases.
