Guwahati: Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is on a state visit in view of the upcoming assembly elections in Assam. Today is the second day of her visit. Priyanka met with workers in tea gardens today and also broke tea leaves. Along with this, she will also worship at the Mahabhairav temple in Tezpur and do an electoral meeting.

Meanwhile, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra tweeted that, 'The multi-colored culture of Assam is the power of Assam.' During her visit to Assam, she felt that she is ready with full commitment to save this multicolored culture. The Congress party is with them in the fight of the people of Assam to save their culture and heritage. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Monday requested the women of Assam to vote responsibly in the upcoming election, as it is extremely important for the future of her and her children. She claimed that the rate of crime against women in the state is the highest in the country and the current government did nothing to improve the situation.

She went on to say, "When you vote, vote carefully and thoughtfully and understand whether the political party or leaders you are choosing are capable of formulating policies to improve the future of your children."
