Lucknow: The Congress today reached her home on Tuesday to meet the families of 10 people killed and 28 injured in the July 17 massacre at Umbha village under Ghoraval police station area of Sonbhadra in Uttar Pradesh. Priyanka Gandhi sat among the victims' families to ask about their whereabouts.

At about 10 a.m., Priyanka left Umbha village by road at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Varanasi. In the meantime, she tweeted, "I had promised the members of the families of the victims of Umbha village who came to meet me at the fort of Chunar that I would come to their village. Today, I am going to Sonbhadra to meet the sisters of Ubha village, to meet brothers and children, to listen to them, to share their struggles," she said.
