Priyanka Vadra's 'Silent Fast' along with Ajay Lallu on Lakhimpur violence begins

Lucknow: Thousands of Congress workers led by Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra gathered at Gandhi statue site on Monday. Congress begins a silent demonstration at Gandhi statue demanding the dismissal of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni from the cabinet in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence case.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is accompanied by all senior Congress leaders. Before starting the silent fast, Priyanka Gandhi said that the government has been trying to save the accused in the heart-rending incident with the farmers, which has never happened before as is happening under the BJP rule. The Yogi government is protecting the accused in Umbha, Hathras, Unnao, Gorakhpur, Lakhimpur. Uttar Pradesh Congress unit president Ajay Kumar Lallu, Pramod Tiwari, PL Punia, Aradhana Mishra, Deepak Singh and others are also present there.
