Bhopal: Congress Party National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Thursday strongly condemned the incident of allegedly beating and killing two scheduled caste children in Madhya Pradesh's Shivpuri district, saying that the state's CM Kamal Nath is harsh against the culprits should take action. She said on this touching incident, 'I am deeply saddened by the cruelty and inhumanity of this incident as a mother".

Priyanka further said that "what was the fault of these children and what her mother feels about this incident is heartbreaking. I request CM Kamal Nath that the culprits be punished severely and to ensure that such violent and abusive incidents do not happen in future also". It is noteworthy that two Scheduled Caste children were allegedly beaten to death by two men after defecating in front of Panchayat Bhavan in Bhavkhedi village under Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh.

Giving information about the case, Inspector RS Dhakad, in-charge of Sirsod police station, said that the police have arrested both the accused in the case. He has said that during preliminary investigation it has been found that only two persons were allegedly involved in the incident.
