Bhopal: Assembly elections are due in Madhya Pradesh this year. While the BJP is trying to save its power here, the Congress's morale is skyrocketing with the victory in Himachal and Karnataka. In such a situation, the Congress will try its best to win in Madhya Pradesh. It is believed that Congress national general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will announce five guarantees for the people from Jabalpur on June 12. If her government is formed in the state, the party will implement them.

On October 14, 2022, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra launched the party's election campaign in Solan, Himachal Pradesh, guaranteeing one lakh government jobs and the implementation of the Old Pension Scheme (OPS). In Karnataka, Rahul Gandhi had given five guarantees like 200 units of free electricity, 10 kg of rice to the poor. The party has formed governments in both the states. However, it is another matter that, after coming to power, the Congress is now talking about the conditions being implemented in those guarantees. Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge has said that free schemes are not for everyone, conditions will apply to it. At the same time, now in Madhya Pradesh, the party wants to play this guaranteed card. Priyanka will announce a guarantee for the people on behalf of the party.

At the same time, PCC chief and former CM Kamal Nath has already mentioned these announcements in his public meetings. State Congress spokesperson Anand Jat said, "Priyanka Gandhi will launch the assembly election campaign from Mahakaushal area, which is dominated by PCC chief Kamal Nath. She can make some big election announcements. Every party worker will be assured that the Congress is coming to power in Madhya Pradesh under the leadership of Kamal Nath."
