Lucknow: The land purchase scam for ram temple in Ayodhya has once raised political mercury. The Yogi government has ordered an inquiry into the purchase of land in Ayodhya, while the Congress has also attacked the government. Congress national general secretary and UP in-charge Priyanka Gandhi Vadra while holding a press conference on Thursday alleged that there was a scam in land purchase.

Priyanka Gandhi has alleged that earlier ram mandir donations were scammed and now dalit land is being grabbed. Priyanka also questioned the handing over of the inquiry to the district level officer and said the probe should be conducted under the supervision of the apex court. Priyanka Vadra said that 10,000 square meters of land was sold to the trust for Rs 8 crore, the second part of the same land (12,000 square meters) was sold to a Ravi Mohan Tiwari for Rs 2 crore.

Priyanka said that when the land was sold after 19 minutes, the second land of 12,000 square meters was purchased by Ravi Mohan Tiwari after 19 minutes. Anil Mishra and the trustees of ram mandir are witnesses to the RSS of the land purchased by Tiwari. The other witness is Ayodhya Mayor Rishikesh Upadhyay. 5 minutes later Ravi Mohan Tiwari sells the same 2 crore land to the trust for Rs 18.5 crore. If it is not a scam and corruption, what is it?
