Priyanka visits the White House to interview Kamala Harris while Nick hangs out with Malti

Every so often, Priyanka Chopra adds a new achievement to her resume. On Friday, the actor chatted with US Vice President Kamala Harris at the Democratic National Committee Women's Leadership Forum while on a visit to the White House. Priyanka, who was dressed elegantly in a yellow backless dress and shoes, spoke with the US Vice President about vital issues like pay equality and US gun laws.

During the chat, Priyanka also disclosed that this year was the first time in her 22-year career that she had equal remuneration on a project with a male co-actor.

The star also shared a few glimpses of her trip to Washington, DC, in particular the White House, on her Instagram Stories. She displayed images of the White House, the Washington Monument, and a drink she consumed that bore the presidential seal.

Nick Jonas tweeted a photo of himself and his daughter Malti having fun together while visiting New York. "Daddy daughter adventures in NYC," he wrote in the caption of a photo he posted of the two from their daytime picnic.

The Supreme Court of India's decision to legalise abortion in India regardless of marital status was recently praised by Priyanka as well. The court ruled that a woman should have "reproductive autonomy," or the right to get an abortion on her own terms. Priyanka responded to it on her Instagram Stories and commented, “The right to choose. The only way it should be for women across the world. A progressive step forward!!!”

With the help of her American TV show, Quantico, Priyanka gained recognition on a global scale. Since then, she has participated in numerous Hollywood productions and more significant ones are soon to come. With the Russo Brothers' Citadel on Prime Video, she will now make her OTT debut. Additionally, she is developing movies like Ending Things and It's All Coming Back To Me. She will star with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt in Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa in Bollywood, but she has not yet started shooting.
