Jaipur: yesterday Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra formally entered in the politics and become the party in-charge of eastern Uttar Pradesh months ahead of 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Now Defending the Congress’s move, Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot said she should be given time to prove herself.

During a session at the Jaipur Literature Festival on Thursday, Rajasthan Congress Chief took swipe at the opposition. He said that Priyanka’s formal entry into politics will give a tough time to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath. He said Priyanka’s induction will be a game-changer in the next three months.

Pilot also rejected the claim that this was another instance of dynastic rule in the old political party. He said the responsibility given to Priyanka by Rahul Gandhi was not an office of profit. He said the Gandhi siblings would complement each other in the course of the Lok Sabha campaign. “They look out for each other.

Pilot further added that he said job creation in Rajasthan was on the top of the agenda as far as he was concerned.
