Kolkata: Patna Pirates have registered a landslide victory in a match of the seventh season of Pro Kabaddi League. Patna defeated Tamil Thalaivas 51-25. With this victory, three-time champions Patna Pirates have broken the order of their six consecutive defeats. The Pirates achieved this victory thanks to the brilliant performance of Pradeep Narwal. The defense pair of UP's Nitish Kumar (four teak points) and Sumit (five teak points) and the redding pair of Srikanth Jadhav and Surinder Gill (both six raid points) kept the Gujarat team in trouble during the entire match. With this result, the UP Warrior team has moved up to the fifth place with 42 points from 14 matches.

Patna's team was dominating from the beginning of the match. After leading 18-13 in the first half, Thalaivas was allowed only 12 points in the second half. In the match, Thalaivaz was allotted four times and due to this, the match started unilaterally. On behalf of Thalaivas, only Ajit Kumar was trying to handle the team alone. He achieved Super 10.
