Panchkula: UP Warriors defeated the Haryana Steelers in a match of the seventh season of Pro Kabaddi League. The Warriors defeated in a tough match by a margin of seven points. The match was played at the Tau Devi Sports Complex where the Cowboys won 37–30. Raider Vinay scored the most eight points for hosts Haryana. At the same time, Vikas Kandola and Prashant Kumar Rai, playing their 5th match in the league, scored five points each. The Warriors started to take the first point, but Haryana soon rebounded on Vinay's super raid.

After this Raider collected three points brilliantly. Vinay brought the team to great success by tackling Nitesh Kumar of UP Yoddha. Haryana's Defenders Vikas took the points, but UP maintained its lead. Vinay completes reducing UP's lead by five points. On the basis of this excellent performance by Vinay, by the end of the first half, Haryana Steelers were behind by only four points and the score was in favor of UP from 15-11.

At the start of the second half, the UP warrior continued his lead with some important points. Vinay and Vikas, however, kept themselves close to UP through a brilliant raid. UP took a seven-point lead by the 31st minute of the match.
