We always end up our day fighting with our inner self. We tend to think on any topic on which you wished to react differently. A man lives two lives, one his inner soul and other his outer emotions. People often get confused in between both of them.
So today let's know the real essence of the inner world with BK Swathi Prasad (Brahma Kumaris)

"How many times we go through the day thinking ‘I wish I would have dealt with this situation differently’. If we react in a way that is not in line with our true nature we end up feeling guilty about it. However, our words, reactions, and actions on the outside are nothing but a reflection of what is going on inside us. Our face also mirrors our inner frame of mind. Once we fix our inner world, the outside will follow suit.
There are those who think that they’d rather be rich and unhappy instead of poor and unhappy, but the beauty of being the king of the inner world is that we don’t have to be unhappy at all.
All the “…and they lived happily ever after….”fairy tales we listened to in childhood connect happiness to wealth or to finding your soul mate but seldom we hear stories that ‘they lived happily ever after finding their inner peace, inner happiness, connecting with God’ etc. We leave this out of our life until after retirement but more than ever now is the time when we are confounded with unexplainable happenings around us. Needless to say, all young and old will benefit from discovering the power of the inner self.
Rajyoga meditation teaches us that I am a soul separate from this body. I the living soul energy am seated on the throne in
the centre of the forehead. I am the ruler of this body made from matter. I the soul am a King and the mind, intellect and sanskars are my ministers. How peaceful will the kingdom be when the ministers obey the King? We can order our mind to stop thinking negative or waste thoughts and think only positive thoughts and the intellect to clean up all the junk and the sanskars to change their ways i.e give up anger, jealousy, discontent etc. Sometimes we may have to persuade our ministers by sweet talking to them. Tell them they are our friends and that we seek their co-operation since good friends always help each other. Similarly, we can order our 5 sense organs to be on their best behaviour.
When we follow this practice regularly, our ministers will definitely listen to us. We will then be a king of a land free from worry and sorrow. We may not have much material wealth but will have loads of spiritual wealth. Just imagine how beautiful our external world will be now that we have fixed our inner world!"
