Officials said that apart from setting up a project to prepare BS-6 fuel here, a complete plan has been made. This project will be completed by December. After this, BS-6 fuel will be supplied from all over the country. At present Bathinda refinery has started it as a pilot project. BS-4 grade fuel directly from BS-4 means that the amount of sulfur in the fuel has to be reduced. At present, BS-4 petrol and diesel have only 50 ppm of sulfur, which is parts per million.
