Odisha Governor-cum-Chancellor Prof Ganeshi Lal today  (January 20) appointed Prof Sanjiv Mittal as the Vice Chancellor (VC) of Sambalpur University (Jyoti Vihar).

Reports said that the new Vice Chancellor has been appointed for a period of 4  years effective from the date he assumes office as such or until further orders whichever is earlier.

As per the profile available on internet, Prof Mittal has 29 years of teaching experience to the postgraduate (PG) students of Business Management and with 16 years at the Institute of Management Studies and Research (IMSAR), M.D. University, Rohtak, Haryana.

He has been in the position of Coordinator, Entrepreneurship Development Cell of USMS created with the assistance of AICTE since 2006 till date. He has contributed many articles in journals of National and International repute. His areas of interest are 19 Marketing and International Business, Export-Import Procedure and Documentation.
