Hyderabad: For the first time, both the state governments have joined hands to grow women-led startups. A total of 240 women entrepreneurs will be selected for the pre-incubation program and 20 for the incubation program.

Meanwhile, IT Minister M K Venkateswara said, when we announced the establishment of wee hub in November 2017, people underestimated this initiative and its impact. But over the past two years we have overcome all the obstacles and have taken the democratic story of entrepreneurship forward. Through this partnership, we want to create a roadmap on how women entrepreneurship can be increased not only in India but around the world.

The agreement was signed between It Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan and Gujarat Technical and Higher Education Head Anju Sharma. During this period, IT Minister KT Rama Rao, Gujarat Education Minister Bhupendra Singh Chutasama and V-Hub CEO Deepti Rao were present. Let's tell you that V-Hub, which has been launched to promote and accelerate women's entrepreneurship, is India's first state-led incubator.

At the same time, WeHub CEO Deepti Rao lasaid that he was happy to have talks with IHUB to promote women entrepreneurship across Telangana and Gujarat. Through this collaboration, we are going to equip iHub's 3,400 women entrepreneurs with the knowledge and ecosystem that has been developed over the last three years.

Raola said if india wants to be transformed into the world industrial capital, the ecosystem should cooperate and this is the first step towards realizing vision.
