New Delhi: In view of the terrorist activities and increasing radicalisation in the country, preparations have begun for the formation of special forces for the security arrangements of Ayodhya-Kashi and Mathura. The force will be formed in coordination with all central security agencies including CRPF, PAC and UP Police.

With this new security draft, the government has sent a proposal to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. Earlier, on the directions of the Government of India, the Standing Security Committee for the three important religious places has been constituted in a confidential manner. ADG Security V K Singh, who attended the meeting of the Standing Security Committee of Shri Ramjanmabhoomi, confirmed that a proposal to this effect has been sent to the Government of India. The Outer Cardon will be monitored by the Uttar Pradesh Police and PAC, while the entire Inner Cardon will remain in the hands of the CRPF. The Special Forces will take over the command of the complex even before Ramlalla's life is installed at the new temple in Ramjanmabhoomi in January 2024.

For the first time, the views of the office bearers of Shri Ram Temple Trust were also taken in this crucial meeting related to security arrangements. In which it was agreed between the office bearers of the trust and the officials involved in the security arrangements that such a security plan should be made so that the devotees coming for darshan do not have to face the problem.
