New Delhi: Protests are taking place against the Kejriwal government in different parts of Delhi against the new excise policy in the capital Delhi. In fact, new liquor shops will be set up in 272 wards from November 17 under the new excise policy in Delhi. This has led to continuous protests by people from different colonies for the past several days.

The protesters are also associated with local RWA. According to the protesters, the government's new excise policy under which liquor shops are being set up does not follow the excise policy. If these liquor shops open, it will spoil the atmosphere in the area. Questioning the Delhi government, BS Vohra, chairman of RWA Partnership, said the crime rate in Delhi has gone up by 17 per cent in the last few days.

He said that with the opening of new liquor shops, is the Delhi government trying to increase the crime rate from 17 to 70 per cent? And does the Delhi CM want to make the capital a liquor capital? If liquor shops are opened in different places in the area, it will increase crime in the area.
