The Punjab Board (PSEB - Punjab School Education Board) on the lines of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE - Central Board of Secondary Education) has also made changes in the board examination pattern of Class 12 Science Stream Examination. Apart from this, some topics have also been removed from the course. All these changes are being made at a time when there are only about two months left in the exam.

According to a media reporter, teachers from schools in Punjab have reported that 20 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) have been added in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry subjects of class 12. Each question will be of one mark. Teachers say that this can make examinations difficult for students, because in schools, even in class 11, multiple-choice questions are not asked. In such a situation, students do not even have practice.

Currently, the teachers expressed happiness over the removal of some topics from Physics and Chemistry. He says that this will reduce the burden on students in preparing for the main examination. But the teachers must say that these changes should have been made a little earlier. Now there is less time left in the exam. A letter has been issued in this regard along with the new sample papers released on the PSEB website. These sample papers are based on the CBSE pattern. It has also been reported that changes have been made in the pattern of the question paper in the 2019-20 exam. These changes have taken place in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects based on the CBSE pattern. However, a few days before the exam, Manjeet Kaur, the educational director of the Punjab School Education Board, has not given any clarification regarding these changes.
