Mandsaur: There is an uproar in the Mandsaur district of Madhya Pradesh. City Kotwali TI Amit Soni was attacked with a knife by the robbers here. In this deadly attack, Soni was seriously injured. He was taken to private nursing homes in the district for first aid. From here they have been referred to Indore. IG Santosh Kumar and DIG Sushant Saxena reached the spot as soon as they received the information. The attack is linked to the robbery that took place at the Daloda in Mandsaur at 8 pm on June 27. In this case, three motorcycle-borne criminals had raided the shop of hardware dealer Ali Asgar Bohra and looted more than Rs 2 lakh.
According to the information received, the police were on the lookout for the three criminals after a case of robbery was registered. Due to the investigation, the police had received information that the three criminals of the loot were hiding in the Garoth police station area. SP Anurag Sajania said that a team was formed to nab them and sent team to the Garoth area. The team consisted of TI Amit Soni and some policemen accompanying him. As soon as the culprits were detected, TI Soni also caught a suspect. But from behind, two of his accomplices came and attacked Soni with a knife. TI was seriously injured as soon as the attack took place.
Police said that as soon as they received the information about the attack, they were taken to Siddhi Vinayak Multispecialty Hospital for treatment. From here they have been referred to Indore. Police have also arrested some suspects in connection with the deadly attack and are interrogating them. The police have not revealed the names of those arrested and the assailants, but the police are still investigating the entire case. Superintendent of Police Anurag Sujania said the entire case will be revealed.
