Pune: A number of shocking cases are being reported from the country amidst the corona crisis. It is said that the doctor couple living in Azad Nagar in Vanwani police station area had a dispute over something. Both have been identified as Ankita Nikhil Shendkar (26) and Nikhil Dattatreya Shendkar (28).

Both Ankita and Nikhil were said to be living in Azad Nagar. Both were practising at different places. Ankita's clinic is in Street No. 2, Azad Nagar and Nikhil was practising elsewhere. On their way home the previous night, the two had a phone call. Ankita had committed before Nikhil reached home around 8 pm.

Ankita was found hanging from a snare in the bedroom. After rhat Ankita was sent to a hospital where she was declared dead. Police immediately sent the body for postmortem. Ankita's body was handed over to her brother after postmortem. Nikhil hanged himself around 7 am on Thursday because he was unable to bear the shock of suicide. Vanwani police again rushed to the spot after receiving information about Nikhil's death. Nikhil's body has been sent to a government hospital for postmortem.
