Pune: There is big news for Pune which is going through the unlock process. Yes, in fact, there is a weekend lockdown once again. Pune municipal corporation has taken this step to check the spread of Covid-19. It has now been decided that unnecessary shops will remain closed over the weekends. According to the new order, the PMC has also banned roaming without any valid reason after 10 pm. But it is not yet clear how long the reimposed restrictions will last. The order was issued by PMC commissioner Vikram Kumar.

The orders said stalls and shops with non-essential commodities, malls, salons, beauty parlours, spas, bars and food courts will remain closed for weekends. At the same time, these restrictions will continue in the PMC, Pune Cantonment Board, Kirki Cantonment Board area. Let me tell you that the PMC has also decided to continue some of the restrictions lifted from June 14. Government and private offices will be able to operate with 50% staff capacity during this period.

The non essential activities library, coaching classes and training institutes will also be able to run with 50% capacity. In addition, those involved in the required service will be able to use the local train service. At the same time, 50% of the bus services for public transport will be operated with passengers. Meanwhile, no passenger will be allowed to stand and travel in the bus. Public places like the same garden and open ground will be open from 5 am to 9 am. In addition, outdoor games can be played throughout the day. However, indoor games have been scheduled from 5 am to 9 am and 5 pm to 7 pm.
